Piece Name: Hymn of Hope
With this piece, I have learned how to draw geometrical shapes and arrange them to create a small setting. Before I started this project, I was skeptical on the complexity of the project but I pressed on. Using shadowing along with colour theory on this piece really brings it out with a simple background.
This illustration has helped me in organizing my work, keeping everything grouped where needed and also challenged me to draw in a style new to me.
This image shows growth in the Creative and Critical Thinking area because I was challenged to create something that I have never attempted before all the while keeping it simple and easy to took at.
I really enjoyed this project as I had fun with choosing the colours and the way the shapes would be re-arranged.
Something I would change about this image is adding more detail, such as a pattern to the walls and floor along with more realistic-looking water.
